Pusat Standard dan Akreditasi Brunei Darussalam (PSABD), under the Ministry of Finance and Economy (MOFE), had the honour of hosting a delegation from the State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) and the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS), the People’s Republic of China. The delegation, led by Ms. Tang Jiping, Deputy Director General of the Department of Accreditation, Inspection and Testing, SAMR, visited Brunei Darussalam from 20 to 21 May 2026.

Pusat Standard dan Akreditasi Brunei Darussalam (PSABD) at the Ministry of Finance and Economy (MOFE), in collaboration with the Department of Agriculture and Agrifood (DoAA) at the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism (MPRT) conducted a socialisation programme on the 1st December 2025 at Simpur Hall, Rimba Horticulture Business Centre, Gadong, DoAA for the seven (7) newly published national standards.

Brunei Darussalam, through the Pusat Standard dan Akreditasi Brunei Darussalam (PSABD), Ministry of Finance and Economy (MOFE), today commemorated World Standards Day 2025 at Balai Khazanah Islam Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah under the global theme “Shared Vision for a Better World.”

The event was officiated by Yang Mulia Dr Hajah May Fa’ezah binti Haji Ahmad Ariffin, Permanent Secretary (Economy, Trade and Industry), Ministry of Finance and Economy as Guest of Honor and Chair of the Majlis Standard dan Akreditasi Brunei Darussalam (MSABD). During the opening ceremony, the Permanent Secretary also launched the new MSABD and PSABD logos, which symbolise Brunei’s renewed commitment to building a trusted national identity in the field of standards, accreditation, and innovation.
